The Every 15 Minutes Event at Rhea County High School March 26, 2012. This was a program organized by the Rhea County Anti-Drug Coalition (RCAD) and the Rhea County Sheriff's Department. It was presented to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking and/or texting while driving.

The summer is coming to a close.  In the coming weeks, school buses will take to the roads, transporting our bundles of joy to the halls of learning.  Or, something like that. If you remember, my summers at the Women's Care Center are largely centered around the Children's Attitude Motivation Program (CAMP).

A big part of the Edge is to encouraging students to make healthy relationship choices now because today’s choices will affect tomorrow’s relationships. As we talk about marriage in the classroom, most of my students indicate they want to be married in the future.

Usually they expect that we are some kind of anti-sex campaign that is going to come in and tell them that they aren’t allowed to have any fun and that they need to move up on a mountain and never think about the opposite sex or their body parts will start falling off.
